Merci is the only platform that rewards users for reviewing their everyday experiences directly with the people who take care of them.
2. Can I have more than one account?
No. Each user’s account is unique to their phone number and email address. If you would like a second account, because you work at more than one job, please email us email@example.com we’ll help you out.
3. Are there any fees or costs for using Merci?
At this time there are no fees or costs. The service is free for all our users to enjoy and reward great customer service.
4. Can I give a review to an employee who is not on Merci yet?
Yes! If an employee does not come up when searching for a business, you have the ability to enter a name, and even a description of the employee, or add where in the store they worked.
We will then follow up with that business to pass along your review so they get it.
5. Can I review a business or store and not an individual?
Absolutely. We would encourage you to select a manager to tell them directly, or if they aren’t listed, select “Employee not listed” and leave your review about the business or store.
6. How long will it take for Merci to share my review to the employee?
If you selected the employee during the review process, they will receive it instantly on their phone once you submit the review.
If you did not select an employee, but fill in their name and/or description, we will reach out to the business to pass this on within 30 days of the review submission.
7. What will you share with the business?
We will share your entire review post along with any media you include. We will share your first name and email address so they can reach out to you, unless you choose to be anonymous, which then we will not share any information about you.
8. Can I share my experience with a business if they do not show up in the list?
As of now, you can not. However, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org share the review along with the business and any information and we will let the business know.
9. As a Giver or Receiver, does the other user know my identity?
As a Giver, you are automatically visible by your first name and profile photo when giving a review. However, if you choose to be anonymous, your profile to the receiving user will be displayed as “anonymous” with a silhouette as your profile photo.
If you want to receive reviews, you will always be visible to the user. This allows them to find and identify you. To ensure confidence between users, we recommend that your profile picture be a good representation of you. You can set up your receiver status during sign-up or afterwards on your profile page in-app.
10. When will more rewards get posted?
Merci offers two kinds of rewards: Local and National. As we are just launching, we have a few pilot locations that have many local rewards for users in those areas. In addition, we have some national ones that everyone can redeem!
As we grow with more great rewards, you’ll be notified via push notifications and emails.
We encourage you to email us and let us know about some places that you would like to see offer great rewards like free coffee, food, services, etc and we will reach out to them.
11. Where can I learn more about the reward items?
If you have any questions about the rewards’ contents or ingredients, please visit the participating business’s website or contact them via email.

13. Are the reviews public?
Currently the reviews are not public. They go to the employee and the business they are about. However, at times, Merci will post on social media, our website, and other outlets, positive reviews to help build great experiences and congratulate the givers and receivers for helping make customer service better!
14. How can I get my business to participate?
We are always looking for more great businesses to participate in bettering customer service, reward their employees for making a difference and also offer users big perks to come in and visit! If you are interested, please email us at email@example.com.
15. How can I offer a reward to advertise my business?
Our users love the perks they earn for giving reviews and we would love to send you great customers! If you would like to offer something locally, or nationally, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you lose your phone, feel safe knowing that your personal information is safe. If this does happen, please email Merci360 at email@example.com we can suspend your account. Once you have your new or found device, email us again to re-activate your account.
